Job Description
As a Dayforce Solution Architect, you’ll provide expert guidance and architectural leadership in the implementation of Dayforce HCM. The Senior Solutions Architect can expect to split their time between multiple implementation projects, sales activities, proof of concepts and internal initiatives. You’ll design Dayforce solutions and provide technical consulting to clients, implementation managers and consultants on highly complex requirements analysis, architecture, system design, systems integrations and implementations.
Provide Implementation Services
- Provides expert level technical consultations and analyses, solving complex customer problems with systems integrations and implementations.
- Leadership role in solution designs including workflow and product modeling
- Designs HCM solutions at an abstract/conceptual level as well as at a detailed level
- Manages integration efforts according to a standard or customized project plan to ensure quality and timely launches
- Conduct strategic review of the data flow diagram and data flow architecture
- Act as an escalation point for project teams
Internal Implementation Initiatives and Continuing Education
- Develops and presents detailed, complex technical information to internal and external audiences in a manner that is consumable for both technical and business stakeholders.
- Highly engaged in building content and leads internal learning sessions for implementation teams
- Drives continuous improvement in processes and tools; developing and implementing new or enhanced technical methods and techniques to improve the consulting practice
- Ensures knowledge sharing across consulting practice and ensure consistent problem-solving approaches are developed
- Engages in mentoring and peer coaching initiatives
Provide Sales Support
- Support the sales cycle through solution design, prototyping or modeling, and assists with project scoping and estimation
- Participates in prospect discussions regarding solution overview and implementation considerations
- Develop pre-sales presentations and demonstrations
- Guide and support prospects throughout the complete sales process and the transition to the services team
- Responsible for hitting specific sales targets in collaboration with sales and operations

Requirements:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical field or equivalent experience
- 12+ years of software industry consulting experience
- 8+ years implementing HCM solutions with deep expertise in technical consultation and analysis, solution selling and problem solving with 6+ years implementing Dayforce HCM
- B.A./B.S. typically in a technical field or equivalent experience

- Able to effectively manage solution designs within scope and recognize needs for change requests where required.
- Able to execute and/or advise on change management strategies with clients
- Able to recommend additional modules, products or services to enhance client productivity and return on investment in Dayforce.
Technical Skills
- Expert understanding of Dayforce architecture, web-based application architectures, application architecture, design principles, relational databases and SQL.
- Expert level understanding of at least two Dayforce HCM domains (e.g., Payroll, Benefits, WFM, Core HR), as demonstrated through implementation experience
- Expert knowledge of feature functionality, and implementation best practices and risks.
