In partnership with Dayforce, we are currently seeking a Client-Side Payroll Consultant to serve as an embedded subject matter expert within client organizations, ensuring seamless adoption and ongoing optimization of the Dayforce Payroll platform.This is a client-side role, meaning you will act as a liaison and payroll SME within the client’s internal team. You will ensure the client organization understands Dayforce payroll functionality, processes, and compliance requirements, while collaborating with the Dayforce implementation team on technical configuration.

Responsibilities
• Serve as the on-site or embedded payroll subject matter expert for client organizations using Dayforce
• Act as the primary liaison between the client’s internal payroll/HR team and the Dayforce implementation or support team
• Guide client teams through Dayforce payroll processes, ensuring accurate understanding of system functionality
• Support data gathering for applicable Dayforce payroll elements, including pay rules, tax configurations, and earnings/deductions
• Assist with payroll balancing, parallel testing, and issues review during implementation
• Validate payroll processing across the full end-to-end cycle for accuracy and compliance
• Provide training and ongoing support to client payroll and HR users on Dayforce Payroll functionality
• Review and validate payroll inputs, audit checks, and reconciliations
• Support Go Live preparation and post-Go-Live support through payroll stabilization
• Troubleshoot payroll system issues and collaborate with technical teams to resolve discrepancies
• Contribute to process improvements, workflow streamlining, and documentation
• Ensure all payroll activities remain compliant with applicable federal, state, and local regulations

Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in payroll administration, HRIS consulting, or human capital management application consulting
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with the Dayforce Payroll module
• Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, with strong data analysis skills
• Experience with software in a SaaS/Cloud computing environment, including HRIS systems
• Customer relationship acumen; ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical users
• Excellent organization, communication, and collaboration skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
